Stretch your Dry January into February

How to carry your non-al routine into the next month.

Your sober-care routine for February can look very similar to your regular self-care routine. During the month of love — show yourself some. Here’s how to give yourself the gift of, number one, NO HANGOVERS.

TO DECORATE:

Pop into Trader Joe’s and get some fresh flowers to make your nightstand bloom. You can also grab some mint, rosemary and basil for your fridge. Decorating the inside of your refrigerator will spark joy every time you pop that bad boy open. It’ll also give you the reminder to drop some mint in your water, or reach for that rosemary garnish to make your drink that much more special.

TO READ:

While flowers, like awful lovers, get old… a good book does not. Tara Schuster’s “Buy Yourself The F*cking Lilies” never grows old. Her narrative of hard-won lessons in learning self-love and care remains brutally honest and hilarious. Former vice president at Comedy Central Jordan Peele called Schuster’s work “ahead of her time” and New York Times bestselling author Glennon Doyle stated, “You’re going to want Tara Schuster to become your new best friend.”

TO TREAT:

Stock up on all the pretty drinks your heart desires. This February we love:

  1. Spark by Three Spirits: It has clean caffeine to get you through that galentine's day dinner party.

  2. Zephyr by Proxies: This bubble bottle is reminiscent of a natural rosè and perfect to pop on a date (solo or with someone).

  3. Spirit of Milano by Free Spirits: Think of this as the lovechild of aperol and campari. Not too sweet and just the right bitterness to pop into any sparkling water for an elevated sip.
